Positive: The view is truly breathtaking and one of the local guides lives right next door, so you can start your local exploration directly from your villa. I especially liked Rita's rice from the restaurant and got to practice some local traditions in the evening. Felt like we were a part of the family rather than guests during the stay.

Positive: My husband and I had a wonderful 24 hr stay with Germaine (Rita's daughter) and her dad and neighbors. The location was great, at the top of the rice terraces with amazing views from Rita's open-air dining area. Also relatively easy to get to, since it's one of the first places you'll see as you walk in to Batad. The home-cooking was delicious. We especially enjoyed her flavorful, warming soups. Accommodations were simple, but clean and comfortable.

Summary: We would happily return for another stay.

Positive: I had an absolutely wonderful stay here in Batad. The hosts are not only incredibly kind and attentive, but also genuinely funny and welcoming — they truly made me feel at home. The view is simply breathtaking, one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The food is delicious and homemade. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again for such a memorable experience!
